about: ground school is done
Well, ground school is over. It didn't really feel like fourteen weeks but I guess we had so much fun that it just flew by. Anyway, the final exam was last night. It was 60 questions and you had to get at least a 70% to pass. That means you could only get 18 questions wrong. It didn't sound all too hard, but Brandon (the instructor) picked out some really hard questions. A lot harder than the ones I had studied. The pressure was on. I flew through the test in just under 45 minutes, not even touching my scrap paper. Got stuck on a couple and just flipped a coin in my head. Watching Brandon grade the test was nerve racking. I missed 13. I passed. It doesn't get me any closer to my license but it prepared me for taking the actual written test. And that will get me closer to my license.
