Caring A Little Less Every Day

about: good idea, bad idea

I was awoken by my Dad this morning at 4:30. He asked me to sleep in his bed while Sue (Cantoni) drove him to the hospital for some stomach pains he was having. I sat there while he got dressed then, seeing nothing I could do, I fell back asleep. I woke again with the alarm, television, and phone, all within three minutes of each other, 5:48 a.m. I got my brother and sister moving and ready and shipped off to school. He's home now, but our camping trip is pushed back some 17 hours. We're now leaving early tomorrow morning. The rest of the group is down there (well, they will be tonight) so we'll meet up with them in the morning I guess. So I get a night to chill with my bros, even if it is a little bittersweet.

Oh, and I get to solo the week after next. And Nathan wants to get me some multi-engine time in a Baron. This is now more than a hobby, it's an obsession. And looking like a career. It's amazing.

Waiting for a lyrical barrage,
Drew

P.S. Accounting II this second semester was the best class I have ever had in my life. Everyone in there was just awesome and I'm gonna miss them all. Kyle, Steve, Joe, Tim, Gina, Jamie, Adam, Flieg, General Journal, and the rest of the seniors, good luck to all of you.
