Caring A Little Less Every Day

about: dentist appointment

Well, I just got back from my first dentist appointment in over a year. No cavities, another first. It's been a long, long, long time since I've gotten out without a cavity. It might even be the first time, I really don't remember ever having none. But, what kind of dentist visit would it be without some sort of bad news? I have what they call "impacted" wisdom teeth. Instead of growing upwards like normal teeth should, mine are growing horizontally and pushing into the teeth next to them. (How teeth grow horizontally, I don't know, that's news to me.) They, of course, need to be "extracted" (extracted - (v.) absurdly painful method of removing foreign objects by cutting, digging, and yanking). On top of that, I have some extra wisdom teeth (lucky me) that also need to be removed. So there goes a weekend in May. I'll let my mouth turn green before I give up spring break or part of my summer for oral surgery.

Why is it that it's 9:49 on a Monday morning and I know for a fact that everyone's at school, but I still sign on AIM? Same reason I yawn before brushing my teeth, I guess...

Fourth and extra,
Drew
